The national park WildnisCamp is located at 940 meters above sea level. We will mainly be outdoors, and in rainy weather it can get cold at this altitude, even in summer. Good equipment and comfortable, warm clothing are therefore important.

Please pack the following items in your backpack - no suitcase!
(Luggage transportation is only available for children's camp, youth camp and family camp)

• Ankle-high, sturdy shoes (waterproof mountain boots are ideal)
• Warm sweater (or fleece)
• Outdoor pants
• Rain jacket / rain cover
• Cabin clothing (trousers, leiberl)
• Slippers with a firm sole (Crocs or similar)
• Towel and washing kit (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, ...)
• Socks and spare socks
• Hat, gloves (even in summer!)
• Daypack for on the go
• Drinking bottle (1 l or 2 x ½ l; refillable), possibly drinking cup
• Snack box (refillable for snacks on the go)
• Flashlight or headlamp
• Sun cream / sunglasses
• e-card, personal medication (for allergies, ....), bandages
• Writing utensils
• Possibly: pocket knife (ideally with fixed or lockable blade), small umbrella, hiking poles, cap (as sun protection), seat pad, binoculars

additionally for children's camp, youth camp and family camp:
swimming trunks or bikini, possibly rubber boots

additionally for youth camp:
Sleeping bag (for possibly one night outdoors)

additionally for wilderness hikes for women:
Snacks and drinks for the full-day hike on the first day

Facilities in the National Park WildnisCamp

• Shared room incl. bed linen and one luggage locker per person
• Kitchen with wood-burning stove, cooking and eating utensils, 2 cozy parlors, large group room
• 2 washrooms with showers/WC, campfire site, drying room

Cell phone break! There is no cell phone reception at WildnisCamp - enjoy the peace and quiet!
A satellite phone is available for emergencies.
