Botanical Treasures of the Northeastern Limestone Alps
Special Exhibition at the Ennstal Visitor Center
A research project at the University of Innsbruck focused on the origin and genetic diversity of selected endemic plant species in the northeastern Limestone Alps. These species are found nowhere else in the world!
The research team collected more than 2,000 leaf samples, including some from Kalkalpen National Park. This exhibition puts these rarities in the spotlight.
