Part-time continuing education program from May 7, 2027, to May 7, 2028

Wilderness education course

This course consists of six modules that build on one another. The training focuses on developing wilderness survival skills, such as identifying and using plants, learning about mammals, the art of nature mentoring, and training attention and mindfulness. In addition, important practical skills are taught, such as making cooking utensils and building shelters.
The training modules are held in the Kalkalpen National Park WildnisCamp . The December module takes place in the Waldviertel region near 3931 Sallingstadt.

Meeting point: WildnisCamp National Park WildnisCamp 4581 Rosenau/Hengstpass
Time & duration: Each module begins at 4:00 p.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.
Cost: Course fee €1,890 plus lodging and meals starting at €175 per weekend
Info: The course fee is payable in a down payment and 8 monthly installments.

Cooperation and certification

The course has been running since 2009 in cooperation with the Wildniswissen wilderness school. The head of the wilderness school is Wolfgang Peham, and our course leader in the Kalkalpen National Park Jörn Kaufhold.
Upon successful completion of the course, a corresponding certificate will be issued.

Information and registration

Your registration should be received at least six weeks before the start of the course. Please note that the courses have been booked out quickly in the past.
