Winter program 2025/26

Winter in the Kalkalpen National Park has many faces and there are amazing things to discover.

From December to March, rangers invite you to take part in exciting winter nature walks and snowshoe tours. Regardless of the snow conditions, nature lovers can discover how animals and plants cope with the cold season on the "Life Artists in the Winter Forest" tour. Those who want to experience the seclusion of the national park will find the perfect break on a two-day Hintergebirgs tour. A special highlight is the exclusive "Chamois tour for wildlife photography" - a unique opportunity to observe chamois with a professional guide. "Fun and games in winter" is a family program full of exercise and nature adventures, while those interested in culture can explore the home of the famous writer "In the footsteps of Marlen Haushofer".
