Wilderness Education Program 2027–2028

Part-time continuing education program from May 7, 2027, to May 7, 2028

This course consists of six modules that build on one another. The training focuses on developing wilderness survival skills, such as identifying and using plants, learning about mammals, the art of nature mentoring, and training attention and mindfulness. In addition, important practical skills are taught, such as making cooking utensils and building shelters.
The training modules are held in the Kalkalpen National Park WildnisCamp . The December module takes place in the Waldviertel region near 3931 Sallingstadt.

Cooperation and certification

The training is a cooperation between Kalkalpen National Park and the wilderness school Wildniswissen.
A certificate is issued upon successful completion.

Time & Duration: Each module starts at 16:00 and ends again at 16:00
Fee: Course fee: €1,890 plus lodging and meals starting at €175 per weekend
Info: The course fee is payable in one deposit and 8 monthly installments
