National Park Ranger accompanies three adults on a snowshoe hike

For all winter enthusiasts, we recommend this two-day guided national park winter tour with overnight stay in an unmanaged hut on the Ebenforstalm. Mountain forests and alpine pastures are hidden under a thick blanket of snow. Sparkling snow crystals, clear mountain air, and panoramic mountain views ensure unforgettable winter experiences in Kalkalpen National Park.

Group size: maximum 8 persons

Time & duration: 2 days, ascent approx. 350 m

Contribution: Adults €119, including snowshoes and poles (if required), national park ranger, and hut fee (excluding meals)

Equipment: Mountain boots, ski pants, weatherproof winter clothing, food and drink, sleeping bag or hut sleeping bag, flashlight, possibly ski poles

Accommodation: The hut on the Ebenforstalm has basic sanitary facilities (cold water, dry toilet). Food for dinner and breakfast is bought together before the tour, provisions and drinks for on the way must be brought along.
