General
These GTC apply to guided tours and educational events of the Kalkalpen National Park, which are organized by Nationalpark O.ö. Kalkalpen Service GmbH (NP Service GmbH) and Nationalpark O.ö. Kalkalpen GmbH (NP GmbH) and are deemed to be agreed with the booking.

Bookings
For bookings of guided tours and educational events, written booking confirmations are issued by the visitor facilities of Kalkalpen National Park and sent to the customer by email, fax or post, containing all the essential details of the event (dates, prices, meeting point, etc.). Exceptions to this are events without advance booking, where visitors can participate without prior booking, subject to availability.

Payment
After booking a guided tour/educational event, the Nationalpark O.ö. Kalkalpen Service GmbH or the Nationalpark O.ö. Kalkalpen GmbH will invoice the full amount. Unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking, the invoice will be sent electronically to the e-mail address provided at the time of booking. Timely receipt of payment before the start of the event is a prerequisite for participation in the event.
For schools, multi-day programs or group bookings, the final invoice is usually sent after the event according to the actual group size.

Withdrawal and cancellation fees
1. Cancellation of guided tours and educational events is possible free of charge up to 3 days before the date of the event. For events lasting several days at the National Park WildnisCamp , the cancellation conditions of Villa Sonnwend National Park Lodge apply (open in separate window). For services provided by third parties (e.g. accommodation, bus companies, etc.), their respective cancellation conditions apply.
2. Any withdrawal must be made in writing (e-mail) and in compliance with the specified withdrawal deadlines to the booking office that issued the booking confirmation. In the event of cancellation at a later date, no-show without excuse or termination of the event by the participant, NP Service GmbH or NP GmbH shall be entitled to charge or retain the full amount (100% of the participation fee).

Liability
NP Service GmbH or NP GmbH must claim for itself and its assistants the exclusion of liability for property damage, insofar as this damage was caused by slight negligence, due to the uncertainties that inevitably exist in the great outdoors and in view of the wide range of services offered for the entire business relationship with the customer. The statutory provisions apply to personal injury and damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

Service disruptions
Should NP Service GmbH or NP GmbH fail to provide the service owed, it shall be entitled to fulfill any warranty claim of the visitor by means of a replacement excursion or a price reduction. The implementation of a replacement excursion requires the consent of the visitor.

Cancellation by the organizer
If advertised events do not take place or have to be cancelled due to an insufficient number of participants or for weather-related reasons, participants will not incur any costs. However, no claims for compensation can be made for event content changed or events canceled due to weather or safety reasons.

Substitute program
NP Service GmbH or NP GmbH reserves the right to change or cancel programs at short notice in the event of adverse weather conditions and to offer the visitor a substitute program.

Health or medical needs or risks
In the interest of the safety of the participants, it is requested that the supervising rangers be informed of any possible health or medical needs and risks (such as cardiovascular problems, seizures, diabetes, allergies, especially to insect bites) before the start of the excursion. This information will be treated in the strictest confidence and is provided solely for the safety of the participants. Participants may be excluded from the event due to inappropriate behavior and/or alcoholization.

Customer money insurance in accordance with the Travel Agency Insurance Ordinance (RSV)
Nationalpark Oö. Kalkalpen Service GmbH is registered as a tour operator in the tour operator directory of the Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy under the registration number 2010/0049. In the event of insolvency, all claims must be submitted within 8 weeks directly to the responsible insolvency administrator TVA-Tourismusversicherungsagentur GmbH Ferstelgasse 6, 1090 Vienna
