The National Park administration cooperates closely with the Biology Center Linz (Upper Austrian Provincial Museum). This means that many specimens from the National Park area are properly stored in defined collections in the museum. Experts from the Biology Center carry out taxonomic determinations and save the data in in-house databases, e.g. the Zobodat database for managing animal and plant species. In addition, a particularly large number of results about the National Park are published in the scientific journal "Beiträge Naturkunde Oberösterreichs", which is published by the Biology Center.

Knowledge database

The Kalkalpen National Park documents and publishes its scientific findings on an ongoing basis, including in its publication series Kalkalpen National Park.
