WildnisCamp

IN KALKALPEN NATIONAL PARK

The national park WildnisCamp is located in a sunny clearing in the middle of the Kalkalpen National Park forest at 940 meters above sea level. This comfortable oasis in the wilderness can only be reached on foot; cell phones are off the air here.

Spend the night in the middle of the national park

National Park WildnisCamp

Spending the night in the middle of a national park and experiencing the forest wilderness up close is something special anywhere in the world. Two cosy huts with multi-bed rooms, a group room and a fireplace are the base for our WildernessCamp programs with national park rangers.

We learn how to make fire like our ancestors. We find out which plants are edible and how the animals of the forest reveal themselves through their tracks. Being creative together, forays into the wilderness, carving simple tools or simply enjoying your favorite spot - our camps guarantee unforgettable days for adventurers big and small.

The WildnisCamp can be reached in an hour's walk from the Hengstpass near Windischgarsten. We use this short and easy hike to get to know each other for the first time. Don't worry, we are happy to take care of the luggage transport :-)

We prepare our meals together around the campfire as often as possible, and we attach great importance to healthy cooking.

All programs can also be booked individually as a group. The camp is ideally equipped for seminars, workshops and school groups.
