At the family camp, one thing counts above all: real time together - far away from everyday life and digital distractions. There is no cell phone reception at Wildniscamp , instead a place full of adventure, laughter and unforgettable moments awaits you.

Whether parents with children, grandparents with grandchildren, godparents with their godchildren or uncles and aunts with the whole gang - with our experienced national park rangers you can immerse yourself in wild nature and discover all that the forest has to offer.

- Get off to a playful start: Start your wilderness days with fun games to get to know each other and cooperation games that strengthen team spirit and ensure a good mood.
- Light a fire like the wilderness pros: Together we collect tinder materials and learn how to light a blazing fire without modern aids - the perfect start to our camp life.
- On the tracks of wild animals: Become a real tracker! Discover the signs of the wilderness and find out which animals are at home in the national park.
- Your own wooden tools: With skill and creativity, we burn or carve individual spoons that you can take home with you - a lasting memory of your adventure.
- Secrets of the herbal world: We explore the diversity of nature, collect wild herbs and use them to refine our meals - straight from nature to our plates.

- Night adventures and camouflage skills: When darkness falls, things get exciting! Whether it's sneaking around, camouflage maneuvers or a night hike - the wilderness reveals a whole new side.

Time & duration: 3 days (Friday 10 a.m. to Sunday, 2 p.m.)

Fee: Children € 145,- / Adults € 369,- / Family price: with 2 adults the 2nd child is free (Please book family price by phone, as online booking is not possible. Tel. +43 7562 20592)

Info: Suitable for children aged 6 and over. Sure-footedness and average physical condition required for easy hikes. Please inform us of any health restrictions, allergies, special dietary requirements, intolerances or diets when registering. Out of consideration for other people, dogs are unfortunately not allowed.

Accommodation and meals: Kalkalpen National Park WildnisCamp
The National Park Wilderness Camp is located in the middle of the forest wilderness of the Kalkalpen National Park and can be reached on foot in an hour from the Hengstpass parking lot (luggage transport). The two huts have a kitchen with wood-burning stove, two parlors with tiled stove, a group room and showers/WC. The multi-bed rooms are equipped with separate bunks (incl. luggage cupboard and bed linen). All food and meals are supplied by the Villa Sonnwend National Park Lodge. More...
