EDUCATION

School programs
& adult education

Many years of experience in nature education characterize the Kalkalpen National Park educational programs. The rustic forests, mountain streams, meadows and beautiful landscapes in the National Park are our unique learning environment. Here we can experience nature as it really is and learn to appreciate and protect it.

We will be happy to help you plan your school trip or answer any questions you may have about your desired training course:

More wilderness in the classroom

School classes are a key target group of the Kalkalpen National Park education program. Our partner schools are increasingly incorporating national park-related content into their lessons and learning about responsible interaction with nature through play and research on National Park Experience Days.

Cost-effective ARRIVAL

The Kalkalpen National Park is a NATURSCHAUSPIEL partner. After a tour, Upper Austrian schools, day nurseries and kindergartens can apply for subsidies for bus and train travel.

The ÖBB SCHULcard is also a particularly inexpensive way to travel to the National Park region. Children's and youth groups of 6 or more save up to 60% on the standard price for travel on ÖBB trains within Austria.
