National Park Children's Camp (5 days)

Forest adventures for the curious

Mon July 13 - Fri July 17, 2026

The wilderness is calling and you are right in the middle of it! Rare animals, even lynx, live at Kalkalpen National Park . We explore their habitat and go in search of traces of the brush ears. On our forays through the forest, we look for hidden treasures, secret forest dwellers and mysterious places. We find out how to recognize animal tracks and which plants we can eat. We make a fire just like our ancestors, build a shelter in the forest and playfully experience the magic of the night. There's lots to discover, new friends to make and adventures to experience. Come with us into the vast forest wilderness at Kalkalpen National Park!

What to expect:
- Team spirit and fun: cool games to get to know each other and cooperate, where everyone sticks together and it's really fun.
- Exploring the wilderness: Exciting forays through the forest - on the trail of lynxes and other animals, discovering edible plants and coming across secret tracks during a treasure hunt in the forest.
- Learning outdoor skills: starting a fire with collected tinder, building a safe shelter, finding your way in nature and carving your own spoon.
- Mountain stream adventure: Discover the mountain stream habitat together, feel the cool water and get to know the fascinating creatures of this special world.
- Nights full of magic: Marvel at the night sky and experience the adventure of darkness. Whether it's sneaking up on people, camouflage maneuvers or a night hike - the wilderness reveals a whole new side.
- Campfire time: Share stories around a crackling fire and prepare delicious food together.
