Voluntary environmental year JUMP
If you want to get involved in nature conservation and are interested in working in a national park or if you are simply not yet sure where your career path will take you, then a "Voluntary Environmental Year" in a national park is the right thing for you!
Annual interns support the National Park management and the "Bergwiesn" association in Molln.
As part of their voluntary work, they maintain species-rich alpine and mountain meadows, maintain infrastructure facilities, help with neophyte management and look after grazing animals. They assist with research in the national park and lend a helping hand wherever there is a need. Volunteers get to know the Kalkalpen National Park and the nature reserves in the National Park region, learn lots of interesting facts about nature conservation and agriculture and acquire valuable social skills.

A year for you - a year for the environment
- A "Voluntary Environmental Year" lasts 12 months (from September 1 to August 31, including 6 months at Kalkalpen National Park and 6 months at the "Bergwiesn" association in Molln)
- The "Voluntary Environmental Year" can also be credited as a substitute for civilian service!
- You are covered by accident, health, pension and liability insurance during your employment
- Monthly pocket money and food allowance
- Family allowance (if the legal requirements are met)
- Service locations are Kalkalpen National Park and the Kalkalpen National Park region.
- Everyone is responsible for their own accommodation and meals. Simple accommodation is available in the Alpenvereinshaus in Molln.
- Previous knowledge is not necessary. The important thing is to enjoy working for nature!
