Riding rules
- Riding is permitted on Kalkalpen National Park from April 15 to October 31 and on all other riding trails all year round - from two hours after sunrise to one hour before sunset.
- Only ride on marked routes! Riding is a special nature experience. Wild animals do not run away from riders. They think they are a strange kind of animal. However, horses are not always predictable when encountering animals, hikers and cyclists. Riding is therefore only possible on marked riding routes at Kalkalpen National Park !
- Close all pasture gates reliably again.
- Many riding routes are also designated as cycle paths. Always be aware of oncoming cyclists or motor vehicles.
- Some routes are long and the terrain is steep in places. Please do not overestimate yourself and your horse and do not forget to take sufficient provisions and drinking water with you.
- Please understand that compliance with the instructions for use and possession of a valid daily or annual sticker will be checked.
