We are looking for a zoologist
We are strengthening our dedicated National Park team in the Department of Natural Areas and Research and are looking for an employee to initially work 20 to 30 hours per week in the field of zoology.
Tasks:
- Supervision of our numerous protected species in the field of zoology (especially insects, butterflies, birds, fish, amphibians and reptiles)
- Coordination of research
- Coordination and implementation of mapping and monitoring
- Preparation of reports and lectures
- Guided tours in the national park area
Requirements:
- Degree in biology, ecology or similar
- Comprehensive knowledge of zoology
- Experience in scientific research and project work
- Driving license B
- Confident demeanor, reliability, sense of responsibility and motivation
- Ability to work independently, willingness to work in open terrain and basic physical fitness
- English spoken and written
Advantageous knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of aquatic ecology
- GIS knowledge
- Practical experience in the field of nature conservation
We offer:
- Own office workplace in Molln
- Possibility to work from home by arrangement
- Salary: Euro 3,254.55 gross in part-time position (30h/week);
- Overpayment possible with appropriate professional experience;
