In the footsteps of Marlen Haushofer

Little Meta, the yellow house by the stream, the mountain meadow - "the most beautiful place in the world". Erni Kirchweger takes us into the world of the writer Marlen Haushofer. We walk along her former school route from Frauenstein church to Marlen's birthplace in Effertsbach, where Erni now lives with her family. Using passages from her books, we feel how Marlen drew strength for her life from her childhood in the freedom of nature. We gain an insight into her family history and her life as an adult woman. If you've got a taste for reading Haushofer, here are three book tips from Erni: "Brav sein ist schwer" (children's book); "Himmel, der nirgendwo endet"; "Die Wand";
