Flying gems - butterflies

Butterflies and their habitats at Kalkalpen National Park
Over 1,600 butterfly species flutter around Kalkalpen National Park, and nowhere else in Austria have more species been recorded. Butterflies love the flower-rich habitats and the sparse, near-natural forests. If there are few butterflies to be seen in the cold and damp weather, we will focus on their habitat requirements and nectar plants on the tour.
