In Weißwasser, deep in the Hintergebirge mountains, there was once a mining settlement where 1,000 people lived. After visiting the Unterlaussa miners' house, we will head to the original sites of the mining settlement. Our hike will then continue to the World Natural Heritage sites. In the old beech forests, it becomes clear how quickly nature covers up traces of human activity.
