Snowy valleys, ponds and other gems
Competition for light, warmth and water influences the occurrence of plants and animals. In the Hengst Pass area, we go in search of gems such as snow valleys, ponds, moors and rocks. We discover the special importance of these habitats for biodiversity. We also explore the question of the future of these sites in the face of climate change.
Time & duration: approx. 4.5 hours (approx. 6 km, pure walking time approx. 2.5 hours / ascent approx. 350 m)
Contribution: Adults € 19,- / Children € 12,- / Family € 38,-
Info: Suitable for children aged 10 and over. Sure-footedness required, as we are partly off-road. Free participation on all fixed dates with the Pyhrn-Priel Card.
Equipment: Hiking boots, weatherproof clothing, snack and drink; hiking poles, binoculars and magnifying glass recommended
